Let's Be Foodish

The objective of this project is to enrich the academic and personal development of our students using their gastronomic heritage as a common thread. The idea is that all the centers involved share a common space where students can learn their own and European food, culture and traditions. Taking this starting point we hope that students develop an interest in a different learning style: learning by knowing a culture, people, languages, habits ..., own or foreign. For this purpose, we will make use of interdisciplinary tasks that aim to encourage communication and cooperative learning.

Aims of the Project

-To enable our students to develop 21st century skills, creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and solutions to daily life problems.

-Promote cooperative work and good work habits among students and teachers from different European countries

-Value the importance of cultural and traditional values through the gastronomy of a country

-Appreciate and value the customs of other countries and their own (sometimes great unknowns).

-Learn the value of food within a healthy diet.

-Revalue and promote the healthy and economic values of traditional cuisine

- Exchange educational experiences that positively revert to the personal and academic development of all participating students.

-Develop in students greater autonomy and greater motivation towards study for the gratification that the development of the project will entail
